micky n00b Join Date: Aug 2012 Car: 2001 BMW 323 i Posts: 1 Photos:	FNG- Valve Cover Crack anyone able to give possible causes for a 2001 323 i valve cover to crack? recent work: -new valve cover gasket (June) -replaced "honker" valve (2 weeks ago) thanks for any responses

As the material ages it become more fragile. Its not a "lifetime component".
