Flashing Brights - BMW Forum

Was wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue with a 2000 323i: In cold weather (below 24 degrees F), the bright lights will flash intermittently as I drive down the road....all on their own!! This happens for about 15 minutes until the vehicle is properly warmed up. I'm sure on-coming traffic is fairly annoyed with it, and it's quite embarassing to me. I have not been to a dealership yet, I just haven't had the time, but was curious if anyone else has ever experienced this.

I live in sub Zero also. My headlights have not flashed. Maybe your car is checking its eyesight periodically like bliking eyelids!!!

I guess this is a wiring issue?? And judging from lack of resonse, I'm the only one to ever experience this. heh oh well. It's going to the dealer for service next week.
