Fitting a Cd changer into a early 99 BMW 318i SE

Hi,

Recently bought a 318i se, s reg jan 99 in England - I want to fit a cd changer that can play mp3's and be operated from the business BMW radio. I've seen the SONY cdx-t70mx, and I think this would eba suitable changer unit, and I've also seen the littel box you have to use in order to use other cd changers rather than BMW branded ones.

However, I can't find where the cd changer should plug into my car. In the boot, when i open the section on the elft hand side above the wheel well, I have 2 plastic storage sections that can;t be moved without breaking them (or at least it feels like that) - but I have been told that e46's already are prewired so that there's a 6pin and 3 pin connector in teh boot to hook up a cd changer to. Where exactly are these 6pin and 3 pin connectors?

You will need to take out the trunk linning on the left were the boxes are located. The pr installed cable for the Cd changer is taped down behind or under the boxes, you can then remove the boxes which are secured with eight bolts.
