hello all

2005 325xi

I was reading through the manual about a First Aid kit located in the car however I am unable to locate it. Any ideas?

My second question is, the dealer offered a discounted rate for paint protection sealer or something... the primary idea is to protect the paint from chips and debris, acid rain, etc.
the cost was $325 ..is it worth the cost?

According to the dealership, the First Aid Kit is only available if ordered from Germany.

That is interesting. I called BMW customer service and they did confirmed that the First Aid kit is only available for European vehicles but available as an option to order. Apparently they use the same manual for different countries.

You can order the kit from BMW USA, but it is really expensive for what you get. I just saw it in the accessory catalog Tuesday at the dealer.
