| I own a low mileage 3 year old 330Ci - auto - registered in Oct 2000 mileage 26000 approx.
Recently i was driving round my office car park at about 5/10mph when the engine cut out totally - all dashlights on. stuck in drive. coast to a halt move stick to P restart - ok
A little while later same thing happens at a local roundabout at about 20mph luckily noone behind me. Car goes to garage who check and say faulty camshaft sensor - replaced of you go . Incidentally this fault hs happened a few time previously.
GO to france do some high speed mileage return to UK. Drving doen local road at about 30mph - total failure all dash lights on etc. stop retart phone garage going in tomorrow to be checked.
What is this? I want to sell car as not too happy with idea of total engine cutout at 100+mph on a german autobahn!!
Help required - is this a known problem? Is this a faulty component? or what? |
