Fan blades sheering off

Hey this is the second time in under 500 miles that the fan blades sheered right off punctureing my coolant hoses. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this. Will be finding out details as to when they replaced the fan if they replaced the fan clutch as well. Could the old fan clutch be causing the blades to sheer off ???

Remove the fan and clutch assembly. Start the engine and check if the shaft has a wobble in it. Stop the engine and check the shaft for any play. It could be that the water pump bearings are on the way out and putting strain on everything else as a result. Another option could be to look at an electric fan instead.
Have a look at the options available through Zionsville Autosport

I search on YouTube to see how to take the fan clutch out to inspect easily
