Hey Bimmermann - as a souvenir from NYC, your post brought to my mind that you are a n00b DOUCHEBAG. Go back to Argentina and don't let your leg swinging tango hit you on the way out asshole. If you don't care, don't read the thread, no one here has a gun to your head, YET.

Have nice night.

kthankxbye.

This has been a Public Service Announcement.

I felt the same way about fakes......when I owned my 1972 Chevelle SS & the Chevy Malibu owners slapped the SS emblems on their cars.......now.....I do own a 97' 328i with the optional Sports Package & I have done numerous Modifications including installation of M bumpers, mirrors, & side mouldings.......& even though "M" is the 1st letter in Modification, I would never put the ///M badge on my car......

It's all too common. Personally, I think its a little lame that people do it. Interior stuff like seats, steering wheels, and shifters is fine because many non M cars came stock with those components if the sport package was chosen. However, it bothers me when I see an M badge on the trunk when the car is clearly not an M car. There was a kid at school who had an ///M3 badge on his stock E46 325ci. The kid tried to convince me that his car was actually an M3. after giving him all the reasons why his car wasn't one or could ever be mistaken of one he gave up the act. I ended up seeing his car a few weeks later and noticed the M badge Had been removed. I can't help but feel I was responsible.

I can understand why people do it. Make a 316, 318 look like an M3 kinda cool. But i would never do it. Its like telling people who don't know that you have an M3 when you dont!
I know someone who has a NA scooby, and has given it full sti body kit! Looks great, sounds shit, beaten off the line by most cars lol.
Down to personal choice i suppose. Show or go
