| Speed Sensitive Control:
How do you turn off the speed sensitive control. I know it ranges from -9 to +9, so would 0 be the off position. This could have added to the problem, but my problem was like mono to stereo going in and out. I think it was beause of the speaker switch...see below.
Speaker Switch:
I also noticed that with the speaker switch pushed in (on below the heater/ac/controls), it completely distorts the speakers when pushed in.
If you set to left front from radio control, and turn the bass up about 1/4 way and treble up about 3/4 way, and volume up to normal listening level and hit the switch, it cracks up the speakers on the left front (test case).
I have also found out when that speaker switch is pushed in, you really need good reception to get the best sound and it goes in and out of stereo and mono with it on. This might have been my problem.
Add Subwoofer:
I think the speakers are not good quality. So Bass all the way down, treble up 3/4 way, speaker switch not pushed in at all, and disconnect the rear drivers, and add in a subwoofer with inline - rca adapter.
Replaced Speakers:
Has anyone replaced the speakers in the car, and what type would you recommend ?
