I have been told that the cause of the interference maybe the aeriel at the back of the stereo coming loose. But I cant see anyway of removing the stereo. Please can someone help me

as soon as i get home from work, i will write the instructions on removing your stereo, unless if somebody else beats me to it.

okay,

1) Prying gently, remove right dashboard trim, then center dashboard trim.
CAUTION- To avoid marring interior trim, work with a plastic prying tool or a flathead screwdriver with the tip wrapped in tape.

2) Remove radio mounting screws. There is one screw on each side.

3) Pull radio out of instrument panel opening. The electrical harness connector and the antenna lead will be right behind it.
