External Audio Input

I recently bought a Delphi xFM radio and want to hardwire it into the factory CD/radio of my '01 325i.

The Delphi xFM has the ability to xmit on specific FM frequencies into the radio, But when I travel across multiple cities, I have to constantly change stations to find a free frequency. ... a big PITA.

Any suggestions? Has anyone added xFM to their stock factory radio ....
or do I need to buy a new audio system?

Of course mot. I dont know your specific situation but there are CD changer interfaces that come with RCA connectors. This gives you direct access to your audio system. I run a DVD directly into mine and the sound quality is 10X better than an FM mod. If you popped a CD into the DVD player you couldnt tell the diff in the factory system.
