I found it best to strike the very tip of the chrome pipe. After a few whacks they made it all in. EXtech 2nd Gear Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: Texas Car: Posts: 497 Photos:	Get yourself a piece of 2X4 and place across the end of the tip and use a heavy rubber mallet to whack the wood. The wood will absorb the blow and "cushion" while still delivering the force to install the tip further.
