hey all, i have some new crome exhaust tips but i'm having trouble sliding them in all the way. any suggestions?

Just got some myself last week, if they are OEM and fit real snug, take a rubber mallet and encourage them on. I found it best to strike the very tip of the chrome pipe. After a few whacks they made it all in. Hope it helps you out.

Get yourself a piece of 2X4 and place across the end of the tip and use a heavy rubber mallet to whack the wood. The wood will absorb the blow and "cushion" while still delivering the force to install the tip further. You won't mess up your tips this way.
