| Magnaflow Custom Exhuast

I currently have a Mercedes s500 with a true dual exhaust and will be getting a new 328xi in about a month. But on my benz i hated how quiet the car was, i had to get my catalytic converters replaced and the dealer wanted to charge me 1200 dollars for 2 little exhaust pieces. I get all my custom work done from Car Nutz in Bellevue, Wa where i live. After i talked to tech there and he suggested getting a new exhuast from my headers and back. I ended up removing all piping, old cats, 2 sets of mufflers, and set of resonators. So i ended up getting Magnaflow high flow cats, new piping, and new mufflers with chrome tips. My bill at the end was a little under a thousand, but now i have more horsepower which i could tell immediately and a very nice rumble so you can hear me coming. But its not overly loud, so if you can find a high end custom vehicle shop they should be able to help you find what u need as far as what size mufflers you want. So under a G is not unreasonable, since im sure bmw charges as much as benz does for maintenance at the dealer. |
