I don't know really... I have no experience with any intake, yet that is. I saw this one before, but thought that the air filter looked a little constrictive, then again, like I said, I don't have much experience with these. The HP figures seem very promising. Thier chart shows two HP additions, one is for just the intake bolted on, the other is with the intake and the software.....Damn... 21HP seems alot for just the two for my car, BUT, thier graph doesn't show that addition.
If I have 193HP stock in my '99 328i, 21HP would be at 214HP, thier chart shows around 206HP. I don't know how good it is when they can't back up thier claims with adequate results.
 Damn - it looks fairly easy to install especially compared to the Dinan cold-air intake which I have been thinking about purchasing. For the Dinan you have to remove the front bumper, etc. to install - a lengthy procedure, plus I believe that it is difficult to get to the filter on the Dinan, (not 100% sure about that though). Another possible benefit with the non-Dinan intake is it would appear to be less susceptible water exposure.
To see the Dinan procedure check this web site out:
Yes, and Dinan won't do only Filter, they want to do everything, chip, exhaus etc...
Plus if filter is so close to the ground like DINAN , it gets more dust in.
