Electrical gremlins

I have a 2002 318I, the airconditioning is not operating correctly, the fan when it comes on stays at the same speed even when you increase/decrease the speed switch yes cold air comes out, when you turn the engine off and take the key out it continues to operate for a while emitting cold air. The rear pasenger light bulb warning light comes on even though there is no problem with the bulbs, sometimes this can be overcome by switching on the lights before starting the car. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated Phil

The bulbindicator on the dash warning system does not differentiate between brake or normal lights
In regards to the other issues is it suggested thst the air con unit is faulty?

it needs a final stage more than likely for the blower.
