ECU remapping, should I and whats the best engine

mando n00b Join Date: May 2004 Car: Posts: 6 Photos:	Hi, I have currently bought an E46 (petrol auto). I'm just wondering wether or not to get my ECU remapped. I have been told that it will increase bhp by about 10%. Has anybody had their ECU remaped and had any problems? Will it increase 0-60 time, increase/decrease fuel consumption or do you guys think I should just save my money and get another (safer) mod. Also for around £1500/$2800 what are the top engine mods I should go for? Whats the best engine oil for a E46 petrol?
