I myself own a 2005 325ci coupe, and I made sure I purchased it in January because I knew they were changing the design on the 3 Series.
Part of the reason I love my car is that it doesn't look like any other car out there. The e90 resembles alot of cars on the road in my opinion.
And why did they change the interior so much? It looks horrible, doesn't look like a BMW at all.
I love my 325ci coupe!

I completly agree with you, another thing I heard (sombody mention it on this forum) there is no dipstick or drain plug for the engine oil ,so no more "do it your self" on E90.
Yeah, they're doing that with the rest of the new bimmers too...the new 5s don't have a dipstick either.
As far as e46 vs e90, I'd take the e46 325Ci/330Ci....those are just sporty as all get out. The new 3s are cool because they have the front look of a new 5er, and the radio is re-designed too. Eh', I think they nice, but not as cool as the e46s.
You guys are going to lynch me on this, but I think that on paper, the e90 looks like a piece of crap. However, in person and in motion, it's actually not bad at all, in my opinion. Actually, in person, I think it looks rather nice. Of course, I still think that the e46m3 wins hands down, as it's got the curves and yet the meatiness...
Also, you can refrain from calling me retarded, because I think the Z4 and 6-series are both HOT. And I know alot of people disagree with me. Again, with the Z4, it looks INCREDIBLE in person (in my opinion), and paperwork just doesn't do it justice.
I understand no drain plug, so then they have to suck it out and charge you a lot of money, but I mean no dipstick, how will you know if you need to add oil or something if a leak happens, I mean, the world isn't perfect, unless they made like some super strength oil pan that is guaranteed not to crack.

Stealership says , that everything regarding oil state and condition is controled by computer and display on the dashboard.

I saw them in person too and didn't like them. do you like the interior? I think that even looks more horrible than the car itself.
I'll drive my 2005 E46 happily for the next 7-8 years and buy what comes next after E90. I'm sure the design team will be asked by the management to do a better job then. As if the new 5-Series was not ugly enough, now the new 3-Series...

The dashboard without navigator looks very plain and flat. No more sexy curves like in E46... The rear seats now have more comfort though...
