E90 Problems?

We are interested in getting an E90 and I was looking at reviews. Several reviews complained about the engine light being problematic. A few reviews complained about the car not being quick enough (maybe they were talking about the 325) while some said it was quick and the car made a throaty sound. Does the car have software bugs in it like the redone 7s and 5s had when they first came out?

speed should not be a problem on E90, both have 3.0 litre engines , 330 as well as 325, the diff. is only in horsepowers.

The first major re-model/new-model for any manufacture (even BMW) always has some glitches. Granted, many manufactures are a LOT worse than others, but it's really hard to honestly have a car 100% perfect until it's given to the masses for real testing. I honestly steer away from any first year cars. Before the second year, most of the good manufactures take care of all the glitches.
