snpower 1st Gear Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Car: Posts: 102 Photos:	E46 Water Pump Replacement Questions Our '02 325XI has, for all I know, never had the water pump replaced and is approaching 104K. For the past few days, it's gotten noisier under the hood and I suspect the pump. Normally, I wouldn't try and save too much $$$ but funds are tight right now and I'm wondering what the bare basic part needs are for the job? Would it be foolish to not do the thermostat? Do I need any special wrenches for the fan clutch like Bav Auto sells? And so on. Also, if there is any advice on making sure it's the pump that is noisy they would be appreciated as well.
