e46 thermostat

HI ppl im new... just 1 question is it possible to change the thermostat without having to fork out a fortune for the full housing and stat......

Did you get your cooling system problem solved? I, also, know of a source for discount parts.

Why do you think the source of your problem is the thermostat not opening? Are you sure the water pump is working? Do you have air in the cooling system? Tom

The TIS instructions for removing the thermostat are incorrect for at least some VINs, and assume the engine has a belt-driven fan rather,
