E46 Strange Noises from doors

Hey guys, new to this forum, love all the great stuff you all are talking about. I have a weird problem with my 2003 325i that I was curious if anyone else has had. I am having a noise in my car like a rock rattling around in my front left and right side doors. I haven't checked with the dealer yet about it but I figured that I would ask some experts here first. It seems like there is something in my doors, but my windows go down fine.

Anyone had any similar problems?

Also I have noticed condensation in my left turn signal after going to the carwash this past week, is this a serious problem or should I not worry about it?

Wouldn't worry about the condensation in the turn signal. I've had that almost since I got the clear lenses. Technically, you're not supposed to have any water in there anyways... that's what the vent is for... but I guess it finds it's way in there.

Don't know about the rattle in both doors.

The only thing I can think of is these little plastic grommets that hold the burlwood or plastic trim on the doors. After awhile they self-destruct and fall inside the door. Is the trim loose?

you know I was wondering if that could be it. There really isn't anyway to check that without ripping off the wood paneling is there?

Just wanted to chime in here and say, yes, my left back door has this same issue. I could probably get it fixed "under warranty", but I wanted to wait for something more serious to go wrong, since it's like a $50 deductible.

Often we find the window regulators get "saggy" and rattle but there is no way to check that without taking the wood trim off.
