E46 Heated Seat question

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and I just bought my first E46, a 2001 titansilber 325i with cold weather and premium package. I've had 6 E36s an E30 and an E21. So to say the least, I don't know much about the E46. I like to do my own work on my cars, and I've already replaced my Final Stage Resistor, and it took me less than 45 minutes. I have discovered that my driver side seat heater does not work. The lights come on on the button, so I don't think that the switch is at fault. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to replace the seat heating elements? I'm willing to do it myself, but if I have to destroy the seat then fuhget 'bout it. Any help on the subject would be helpful.

Yes, you can replace the seats heating elements.
There was another thread (ugh, somewhere) that actually had pics for the process.
