E46 European License Plate

I just ordered the classic style random number european license plate from www.bavauto.com; do I need to include the european plate holder as well or will the holes align without it?

Its for a 2005 325i.

Hey Gumba ! you need probably a frame , because holes in the bumper on North American models are in diff. position. Best regards!

You'll need to get the frame. My plate didn't come with any holes. The frame attaches to the existing holes on the bumper, then the plate is placed inside the frame. The frame should have a hinge on the bottom that allows it to open up so you can put the plate inside.
