E46 Electrical probs???

I have a V reg 318ise E46 and weird things are happening with it, just wondering if anyone has experienced this or if anyone has any suggestions to fixing it.... This happens occassionally, sometimes its fine for a few days then it happens solidly for days on end......

Seat belt warning light stays on, interior light comes on, stereo doesnt work, sun visor sliders cause brake lights to come on etc

i had this when my battery was weak. check the voltage it puts out cold. aside form this, no clue.

hi I have a simlar problem one day out of the blue the indicators and the car door display inside the cazr no longer show...the interior lights on the dash dont come on the copntrols on the stering wheel dont work and the air con has stop working and like yours the radio and tape only come on and it doesnt go to cd player.. i had tho diagnostic check done and it came back as the instrument cluster....i then took it to a guy who repairs they as buying a new one was expensive he put in a new one and it was still showing the same probs....so it not the instrument cluster....so i am back to square one...so this may be the problem with ur car but maybe not someone else has said it may be the ingition switch...so may try that....hope this helps..

This is a bad ignition switch. Seen it several times.
