You know, I actually like my wood trim... but that's just me, I've got friends in the same position as you, they want the aluminun or the titanium look trim. What's your interior color? Would aluminium match?

Aluminum would match perfectly! I alredy bought aluminum pedals, steering wheel trim and shift knob. My interior is black so I think aluminum trim would look very good in my car. Let me know if anyone wants to switch :P

Have you thought about some of the black interior trims available - I had silver on my old car but my black interior sport looks so cool with the black trim as well!

I decided to keep the wood trim too. What I wonder is whether the trim can be removed, bleach it lighter and recoat with lacquer. Theoretically it should work as all natural wood products can be lightened with wood bleach. The color is too dark for my taste and as it happens the new style in high end cars is for blonde trim.

I would preffer aluminum trim. My Bimmer is Black on Black so I wanted the trim to stand out. If I had gray interior than black trim would work better.
Thanks for feedback. :P
