E46 330CiC/M3 Snow Wheels compatible?

I have the performance package on my 2004 330CiC w/ stock staggered 18" performance tires. I want to get a set of 17" winter wheels/tires, but I am hoping to find some used. I did find some 17" wheels from a guy with an '04 M3. He has 225/45-17's on all four wheels. WOULD THESE WHEELS FIT MY CAR?? Thanks for your help!

For starters e46 M3's never came equipped with 17" wheels. So these, if they are indeed 17s, are not BMW brand. Maybe you're aware of that. Other than that, i'm sorry to report that the rear wheels will not fit your vehicle, or at least not how they were intended. The rear offset is in the low 20s. The fronts are low 40s. Your car uses low 40s offset at all corners.

I thought the front and rear offset of the E46 M3 was the same as the 330Ci with sport & performance packages. Is this not accurate?

That is indeed innacurate.
