Question e46 325TI air filter

Hi Guys

I have a 2002 E46 325TI and want to replace the air filter with a nice after market one like a K&N, BMC, Pipercross or something to that extend what will be the best? Also any other slight performance upgrades you guys can recommend??

Thanks

The fourth generation of 3 series was introduced in 1998 as E46 3 series.
A complete new design with a nice looking interior and some updated engines.
The higher price of the new 3 series did not matter, it sold well from the start.

Just the filter with stock airbox? Or were you looking into a Cold Air Intake?

I personally like the aFe filters. But if your looking for a cold air intake you should head over to ECS Tuning. Make sure any CAI you get includes a head shield. Otherwise the engine will just be sucking in hot air and it totally defeats the purpose.
