E46 '02 335Xi - Smell of raw gas on startup - NEWBIE

Thanks for your help. My car now is hard starting taking a few seconds of cranking before firing up. it starts, then there is this smell of raw gas that goes away after driving for a few minutes. This only happens when cold and smell of gas doesn't always happen, on every hard start.
Plugs were changed.
Scan shows nothing.
No visible signs of gas leaks.
Seems like it is flooding...but not sure?
Any advice is welcomed.
