from e36 to e46! Some Questions!!

Hey guys!

OK I have a question. I just bought another 3 series, it's like shoes! It's a 2000 323i sport package. The car is flawless, I already installed new lights, new suspension, some other minor upgrades. Will post pics later.

The ONLY thing the car was missing! is the whole housing and the latch door for the ski opening in the back seat. The arm rest and the leather piece with velcro is there, but besides that, it's a one BIG HOLE! I tried to do some research (before visiting my lovely Bev Hills BMW and ask them how much it would cost and what exactly am I looking for.

SO was wondering if any of you fine gentlemen and ladies could maybe help me out and tell me what is it that I'm looking for. The seat does not fold down. It's one solid part. when you look from inside, all i see is foram around it and then the metal bracket wall. So I'm guessing there shoudl be some sort of housing for the door and then door itself.

Any help and most if anyoen could maybe snap a picture of their seat with the door I would so much APPRECIATE it!!

I have no experience wuth this, but let me just congratulate you on the new acquisition. Check again later. The E46 experts shall swing by sometime soon to give you some insight.

it looks like its all one piece?? you may have to buy the entire thing together... id find a local salvage yard...

I will take a pic of it to give you all maybe a better idea. But thanks for the first replies:-) I did find one salvage place up by San Francisco, but they were of no help. And funny I know they have the same car as mine that they are parting out, yet, apparently this car is "missing" the part I need. Maybe because I'm a girl they didn't feel like they could be bothered!
