E-46 323i 2000 Service Engine soon

I had the service engine light on for 2 days now , i can feel that that the engine is not running with all 6 candle lights . , aslo i have noticed that when i unlock the door i can hear a loud noise coming from the back right side .
I want mention that the battery light is frequently on even all lights are in good shape & i believe is the battery probably need to be changed

Sounds like your due for an oil and filter change. Your service indicator light comes on after a certain amount of miles based on your driving habits. Check your battery output voltage. It should read 12.6 to 12.8 volts with engine off.

The noise from the back right side during the unlock sequence is probably the fuel door lock pin solenoid/actuator. Also, check and make sure your gas cap is on ALL the way...The service engine soon light will come on within minutes after a fill up if it isn't on all the way...However, with what sounds like an engine miss you have, I doubt the reason is the gas cap.

ALTERNATOR gone bad, it isnt charging your battery correctly; and therefore, giving you the problems you are seeing.
