Dyno - 318i 02 F/L 2L - BMW Forum

Hi all,

I had my car Dyno at a BMW and Mini specialist. Serviced the car there as well.
They said it's not worth it have the software performance upgrade done.

Any opions on the below results?

There probably right, you won't get much more out of your 318i with just a tune. Add a turbo and then we are talking.

Anyway, your numbers look good for a stock car.

One thing I noticed that was really strange is that the rev's are really high on the last test. 6852 RPM is very high. Seeing that the clock only goes up to 7000RPM. Red line starts at 6000RPM. I did push it to 6500RPM and then let off the gas. Surely this is very high? Could the software tune already been applied? I heard that one of the features is to set the rev limiter or cut off higher.

Any idea anyone?
