I had 225/50/16 Pilots on for summer tires. I recently went to t a goodyear dealer who told me it would be better to switch to 205/55/16 for the winter and to get the Ultra Grip Ice.

The tires were horrible in dry conditions.. the ACS was coming on while I was driving straight and not really that fast ghead

I took them back and told them what was happening.. so they changed them over to Dunlop Winter Sports which come in a 225/50/16. These tires are excellent.. the dry handling doesn't seem any different than the summer pilots.

The Ultra Grips made me feel like I was driving a pinto.. I am so glad to be back to normal. Thanks to the advice on this board.

I ran the Dunlop WinterSport M3's last winter and just recently put them on again. I put 205/55 16 on mine. They really do live up to the claim of being a sport tire for the winter.
