guess this could be driving stories also..but what ever.

on my way to a social event foy my accounting forum and im going over my usual windy road to get to santa rosa. Going about 50 out of a turn with a yellow sign speed of 40. so im not hauling to much ass, but im going at a good pace. no one in front of or behind me because i passed them on the passing lane a quarter mile behind.

edit*...umm it posted before i finished....anyway...

and right after the turn theres a guy stopped in the other lane letting people go around him...in the middle of the fucking road. Guy was pulled off on a half shoulder and making people go around him, who were coming into my lane. I see this, theres not a lot of space since theres a wall on my side. Foot goes to the floor, theres a truck half way in my lane, i swerve to go around him DSC goes nuts. peddle is vibrating from ABS....and so the car does its thing. Saves my ass from hitting a wall or a line of cars because some guy decided to pull over.

anyway. my DSC light went nuts as it should have. My abs did its thing. Im glad i was not in any other car to be honest, because i dont think i woulda gotten out of that unscaved. Gotta love engineering, and luck.

man oh man. I drove my friends nissan sentra, which doesnt even have ABS....i dont see how people can even think about buying a car without it. I had to stop suddenly, because i almost missed a street...and tall four tires locked up and i just slid to a stop. wtf
