I had a diagnostic done and i had brake sensor replaced. If I don't drive my car for couple of day next time I start the car all the lights will come on. I then drive to my destination park the car with lights still on. When i start the car again the lights will not come on until i park it for couple of days.
Get the OBD system scanned for trouble codes. If their is something wrong thats causeing the lights to come on the computer will have stored a code. Its a good place to start.
Before when i drove the car all these lights would come on and i took it to BMW to run diagnostic to check why the lights were coming on. They said i need to replace ABS/DSC/Brake DSC Brake Pressure sensor. I took it to certified bmw place and they replaces the 2 sensors and it was okay for a week.
I dont drive the call all the time so not sure if battery going bad can cause this . Also haven't had alighnment/Balance done for a while.
Lets start with this:
How old is your battery?
Have you ever had the engine bay pressure washed?
It is fully possible that their is moisture in the connectors to the DME. Remove the connectors and clean with contact cleaner. Ensure no moisture is present and reconnect. Do the same for the sensor connector as well.
I had the car for 4 years not sure when the last time the battery was replaced. I currently live in sunny hot florida. Never had the engine bay pressure washed. I drove the car 2 days in a row no problem. If i don't go anywhere for a day next time i start it the light will come on. Any way to check if this is an original battery?
If its the original battery it will have the BMW part number and labels on it. Mine did anyway.

Been having issues with ABS/DCS/Brake lights coming on. Took the car to BMW to read the codes they informed me that i have bad ABS/DSC/Brake DSC Brake Pressure sensor. Had them replaces somewhere else. Now the lights pops on and off.
I took the car to Auto Zone he checked the battery and the voltage was 12.55 first he said that is normal voltage and then a message displayed Bad Battery. He said i will need a battery duralast gold 94R-DLG $165.99. I told him i will come back
Is this the right amt. I expected this amount from a dealer.
When he plugged OBD2 reader he said they were no codes. How come? These messages pop up every other day or so.
Can bad battery cause these issues? Also is my battery bad?
I had the same issue, so I took the car to my local bmw tech, and he told me he wasent able find any faults, I didnt want to take it to the dealer because of that large diagnostic fee, so search the net and found a bmw site that has an online tech. Basically my issue was a pressure sensor, a pressure sensor that is for the DSC/ABS system, once that goes bad it gives an intermerit problem, Focus on that sensor, heres the link to that site with the online tech, Http://bimmerknowledge.com
