So we had our first winterstorm of our season.......12 inches of snow at places. My town got about 6 inches of it. Yesterday was bad and snowing all day so stayed at home......today was bright and sunny and finally cleared the foot of snow over my car (dont have a garage yet....dont ask)......and took it out for a "spin" no pun intended . It handles like a dream. I was able to keep pace with those morons in their snobby SUVs. I even accelerated on some snow laden streets (empty I swear)......and like a kinfe through butter.....lol. I just luv the way the all wheel drive thingy works......I love this car. Wohooooooooo . Go BMW.

Moving soon to warmer place so hopefully wont have to to this long. Take care everybody and be proud if you own one of these babies and if you dont go get one today.

I'm looking forward to the first snow here so I can drive my '04 325xi around. I've got an AWD SUV as well so I'm anxious to see how the BMW AWD system stacks up with my SUV AWD system.

My area usually gets snow in January and February with an errant storm every once in a while in December or March.

I couldn't agree more. I also have Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires on steel rims and it is a Monster in the crap. For $700.00 balanced and mounted, it's cheap insurance and an easy swap when the seasons change.

BTW, the wife and I just bought an all wheel drive '05 Honda Pilot with M+S tires and while it performs well in the bad weather, I prefer the 325XI.
