Door Panel Vibration Or Blown Speaker

Im just wondering if anyone can help me here...
My stereo vibrates at certain points in certain songs... its really irritating.
Its either a blown speaker or something loose in the door panel...
The reason im confused is that upon closer inspection the speakers themselves seem to be fine... most of the time.
Can a blown speaker function correctly 90% of the time?

I have the same thing. On a 2004 330xi. Going to bring it in soon as I get a chance.

Okay then i think its something with the 330XIs because i also have a 2004 330XI!!!! i found out what the problem is... The inner liner of the driver side door pocket is loose.. so it vibrates at certain frequencies. Looks like it needs some glue or something because when i hold the inner and outer parts together the sound distortion stops. I think its an 0'4 production flaw...

I'm there with you guys. I have had the two speakers in the passenger door replaced under warranty to solve the same issue.
To diagnose and repeat the problem, they have a cd with tones that sweep from low to high frequency. Regardless of replacing the speakers, the sympathetic buzzing vibrations at about 125-250hz (low vocal frequency) prevails.

It'll go back to the dealer where they'll most likely find you're correct about that pocket material, and stick on a piece of duct tape, and charge someone $100.
