I put red covers over my blue roundels. Now I have white, scarlet and grey for my color scheme. Go Buckeyes!! If we're going to talk about cosmetic changes to the standard bimmer, does anyone know if you can replace the orange backlights in our dash with different colored bulbs?

I've seen those on a Black M3 and a Black 3 series in the shop...they look really sharp as far as the orange lights, those are LEDs not basic bulbs I've never seen the cluster changed on E46s and we see some extremely modded rides

Yea you can change them, they are actually very small bulbs, not leds. But they emit light thru a orange piece of light bending plastic that shades the dash with orange. In order to change the color you have to take the guage apart and wire up lots of little leds inside there strategically placed so that they illuminate everything. Its a real pita (hours and hours of soldering/cutting/positioning), i did it on my e30 and eventually gave it up for better illuminated indiglo guage replacements.
