Hi there, I know it's the wrong time of the year as winter has just ended, but can anyone who lives in the freezing cold let me know if I need to install a block heater in my 2000 323i.

hmmm, its not cold in vancouver to even consider a block heater but as far as i can think there more a diesal thing, not so much for petrol cars.
