Do I have a Gremlin?

Hi,

New to the forum. I have a 2001 325I. Yesterday, I went to get in the BMW and I noticed that all of the windows were down and the sun roof was open. I did not do that, nor did my wife.

Has anyone else experienced this where the windows open without explaination or is someone messing with me?

if you open door with remote and push button twice and hold it down for a few seconds windows and sunroof open up. Otherwise never heard any problems like that.

yeah holding the unlock button down for 3+ seconds, after the doors are unlocked, will roll down all the windows and sunroof

That's it. Not sure when I did it, but I suspect both my wife and I had our FOBs and were trying to lock the car, etc. and it must had happened while we were walking away.

hmmm, i too seem to have a gremlin living in my garage. every once in awhile the windows will be down. but yea, holding down the unlock button will open up your windows. i do that to mine sometimes at night.
