3-Series (E46, E90)Chat relating to the BMW 3-Series from 1999 to Current. Models include: BMW 316i, BMW 318i, BMW 318Ci, BMW 320i, BMW 323i, BMW 325i, BMW 330i, BMW 328 Ci, BMW 328i, BMW 325i/xi, BMW 330Ci, BMW 320d, BMW 330d, BMW 335d.
I have a 04' 330i. Are there aftermarket plug-in performance programers (like hypertech, superchips, etc) availible for this car? If so, do they make a difference you can feel in the seat of your pants? I've used these products on diesel trucks and they can make a huge difference.
I don't know about the rest of you.... but am I the only one that noticed that none of the current reprogrammers like the shark injector say they work with the 04 models... only 99-03...
I'm still searching the forums like you stated above, but I still haven't found any information on why there isn't anything available for 2004 models.

They have the 2004 and 2005 models. A 2004 330i comes standard (according to them) with 235HP, using 93octane fuel and thier chip, you would now have 249hp. Torque is increase from 214lbft to 226lbft. Pretty impressive I think, even though it'll cost you $640.00....
Dough
...I should add that while comunicating with Josh Cross (BMW Power Consultant at Powerchip Inc.) he stated that, "...we are conservative with our claims so we meet and exceed customers expectations." Meaning that perhaps, reaching 249HP is at a minium.

I'm not sure on that as they don't have any figures on it. I do know that when compared with my 328i E46, the Powerchips are better in gains and upgrades.
