3-Series (E46, E90)Chat relating to the BMW 3-Series from 1999 to Current. Models include: BMW 316i, BMW 318i, BMW 318Ci, BMW 320i, BMW 323i, BMW 325i, BMW 330i, BMW 328 Ci, BMW 328i, BMW 325i/xi, BMW 330Ci, BMW 320d, BMW 330d, BMW 335d.
So what exactly does a Dinan conversion do to your car besides the obvious increase in horsepower and bling value? The DINAN signature series for a e46 325 xi runs about 5000$. So does that price include all labor and parts? Second are there any major modifications to the car done? Like do they tear you a new engine bay or redo the entire engine structure?......They say they cover their work withtheir own warranty.....and will put a DINAN car tag to replace my regular 325xi tag. So I am not a racer type due but the lure of this conversion is too strong.....looks kinda cool....any advice?

The Dinan badge is one of the ultimate BMW modding dreams. You have to attain a certain number of "Dinan Points" in order to get this, 10 points I believe.
Getting the badge would most certainly not classify you as a "ricer" in any fashion, but ratehr gain respect from people who have a clue what it means. Also i dont think they would replace your 325 badge, rather place the DINAN badge ont he left side of your trunk lid.
It usually does NOT include labor. they generally give a number of "hours" required and charge you their rate times the hours to install for labor.
Do you have a description of what the "signature series" does to the car? where are you gettign your information?
A major reaosn people also choose Dinan is that it usually does NOT void the BMW warranty.
