Difference between 318,320,323?

hi guys my boyfriend is going to buy me a BMW, we've seen a few year 99-00 318, 320 and 323 sedan but except the engine and the colour of the door handle. I couldn't see any differences. Are these the only 2 differences?

318 has one tail pipe, 320 and 323 two tail pipe.

323 has a chrome border around the side windows.

The door handle are identical for 320 and 323.

If the color of door handle was different and chrome, that car was equipped with chrome line optional.

318 has black door handle.

323 has chrome front grill.
