I had to get a new hood, on my 2003 325 ,due to some unknown person backing into me with a nice trailer hitch. Took it to the BMW dealer and had it fixed there. The work was good but the paint didn't come close. Too much Metallic and it's very obvious. What should I expect as far as matching paint on a 5,000-mile car? I think you should barely be able to tell unless you look closely.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

the dealership here does not have a body shop i have noticed dealerships like this one i have to deal with are very sloppy and half the times they don't know what the problem is if you have one . probably a good reputible bodyshop around were you are from a better thing.

Dealership for body work.

Even reputible delaerships use out side body shops and dent wizard guys. I suggest, take your car to a autobody shop and they will match your paint.
