kbillan is an unknown quantity at this point
On my last car it was possible to turn them off. I dont rememebr how, but it was as simple as starting the car with a certain combo of buttons held. Is this possible on the E46?

No you have to take it to the dealer to deprogram the DRL feature. $50.00 sometimes free depending on your relationship with the dealer.

theres is one more way just unplug the power the the lights that what i did , but it gives u a warning on ur consol about ur lights, but it doesnt hurt ur car at all, thats the quick way to do it till your dealership can do it

for me its because i have DDE's ( lightnings ) and looks better wit hthe daytime lights off, especially at night
