CV axle help needed...

So i picked up my 01 325xi about 3 months ago and i have an invoice kept by the previous owner stating that both front cv axles were replaced, this was only 20k miles ago but i was underneath the car today and both of my inner boots are torn and the grease is all over my floor boards. car drives great with no clicking or wheel jerk around corners. so my question is; is there any way to replace just the boot? i've looked a couple different places and cant find one... i really dont want to pull the axle if at all possible. but then again it might be the only way. if anyone can help guide me to where i can buy the inner cv boots and whats the best way to change them i would really appreciate it.... thanks fellas

There are several on-line stores to buy parts. Bavauto.com is a good one or Pelican parts is good too. As for replacing without pulling the axles that may be the only way to fix them, unless the boot is a two piece design. I'm not sure if they are a two piece boot. If all the grease is gone from the CV joint you will have to replace the joint along with the boots. If you plan on fixing it yourself get a Bentley service manual. It will save you alot of money and headaches. Hope that helps?
