here is one for the imagination and ingenuity of all of you....
If you have the Bluetooth kit, you loose the ability to have the centre console cup holder.
I have seen a door pocket one on Bavauto.com but it is not available in the UK.
I have also seen the folding ones that screw into the transmission housing, but I really need that sideways legroom as I am quote large....
So where do you reckon, how can we place, what should we do?
Glad to help! I can't remember where I snagged the PDF, but it looks legit to me. I'm planning on the BT upgrade when/if SprintPCS releases the upcoming Treo 650.
just got the bluetooth kit installed.
you don't lose cupholders. One of the components goes underneath the ashtray behind the cupholders, and the pairing button sits just in front of the hinge for the centre console.
some people have decided to CHANGE the cupholder centre console to a sliding door (see SEARCH function on this forum) to accomodate and hide phones etc.
mine fits nicely in the top part of the centre console
I now have the Car with Bluetooth. The reason there are no cupholders is that it has the full kit, including arieal and charging cradle. This replaces the cup holders and is why it is not the same as the PDF doc previously provided.
So at least I can charge my phone....but I can't have a drink (soda) whilst driving.
So the question remains open...not including the centre console...what other options can people reccomend for a cupholder.
