Just heard that the E46 might have a sirious problem. The rear bridge can devellop cracks where the whell bearing arm is attached, but BWM wont recall cause they only found 594 cars with the fault so far in Germany alone. In worst case the wheel can fall off. Should show by rattling noises from the rear whilst driving.
Anyone know more about this?

Have not heard of this as of yet but certainly seems as if it could be a serious potential problem. Although I have never ever seen an E46 with any similar problem that doesn't go to say that it isn't possible. Keep us all posted if you will on any information you receive.
