Cracked Lining In Convertible Top

desi330owner n00b Join Date: Mar 2004 Car: Posts: 16 Photos:	I noticed water in the trunk under the spare tire. I also saw that the sides in the trunk were damp. There are no leaks in the trunk lining. I checked the soft top. There is a lining in the area where the soft top rests on the compartment that holds the soft-top when it is down. It has 2 cracks in the rubber lining. Is that the cause of the leak? What should i seal the crack with? Do i need to take it to the mechanic and get the lining replaced? Thanks.
