...does it have to be done? I just changed my battery on my 07 E92. I did buy the battery from the dealer. Is it a must to spend the additional money for them, or anyone else, to reset the computer? Everything was fine and working correctly after I changed the battery.
Your supposed to, apperantly. Something about the charging system being different than a normal car. I think it's crappy they charge more money ontop of the battery to do it.
