A Couple Questions

I just passed 50k on my '03 330i with sport package. I'm starting to get some pretty consistent squeaking from my brakes and I'm sure its only a matter of time until the sensors trigger the light. Anyway, I was wanting some opinions on whether I should just use the dealer to replace the pads (quoted 400-450 w/labor) or possibly purchase some pads online that are of equal quality? On a side note, I have just recently been hearing some crackling going on around the rear windshield and I can't quite figure out if its the rear break light being loose or something else. Thanks in advance for any help with either topic!!

Wow you drive a lot! I was going to say that you can just use your warantee but i guess not. lol...Well, if you can do it yourself becuase the dealership will screw you every time and its not that hard to chance your pads. Go to any website like www.e46fanatics.com or www.my330ci.com or something like that and they have detailed instructions with pictures on how to do it.
