Convertible Roof - Scotchgard??

I have a new 2005 Cic.

It rained quite a bit the other day, and though the inside remained dry, I was curious if anyone used anything to make the roof more water repellant - like Scotchgard.

I periodically use RaggTop canvas top protectant, but there are others out there, RaggTop is an easy to use spray on. After using it, water beads up like you've waxed the canvas top.
